In Star Magazine’s cover story last week, we learned all about how Katie Holmes might be (and probably not) writing a tell-all book about Tom Cruise now that her “marriage contract” is up. According to the magazine, as Katie and Tom celebrated their third wedding anniversary, Katie was growing sick with Tom’s controlling, hypocritical and crazy ways. The gem in the article was the alleged Xenumobile, the sort-of Batmobile of the Church of Scientology, in which Tom cruise has some kind of tricked-out ride where he’s able to “keep in touch with Scientologists all over the world. It’s padded on the inside, so that no one can hear anything on the outside. Not too many people get to see the inside of this thing.” Yeah. Here’s another funny story: Tom has a secret sweet tooth, and he hides candy in his night stand. He pretends the treats are for Suri, but they’re not.
Anyway, a little side note to the cover story was that Tom and Katie are constantly fighting about Suri and whether she’s spoiled. Er… is that really a question? Any kid who makes this face over ice cream might tend to get over stimulated. Just saying.
While sources say Tom and Katie frequently fight because he’s pressuring her to have another child, Katie is concerned that their 3-year-old daughter is getting too spoiled.
“Tom dotes on Suri,” the insider says. “He lets her do anything she wants, from eating cupcakes for breakfast to drawing on the walls. He never says no to her.”
“Katie is worried that Suri will turn into a spoiled brat no one will want to be around,” the source continues. “Some days, Suri won’t even let Katie touch her hair.” And the staff are too frightened of losing their jobs to stand in Suri’s way.
“If Suri wants to draw pictures on Tom mahogany paneling, she does. Tom’s already had to replace the paneling twice in six months!”

To go along with the whole “Suri is a spoiled little demon” story, Showbiz Spy is claiming that Suri threw a tantrum because she wanted a mink coat. Now - Showbiz Spy claims this story originated in the Enquirer, but I can’t find it. I think it’s probably some vague story that probably has very little truth, but we believe it because we don’t have any problems believing Suri is a little diva:

According to reports, the three-year-old saw a real mink coat on display at a fancy department star in Boston and wanted it — but was seething when mom Katie said no!
Holmes, keen not to anger animal activists, flat out told Suri that she couldn’t have the expensive garment — which resulted in a massive temper tantrum from the toddler, according to American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“She’s got a fake fur coat and she’ll have to be content with that,” the former Dawson’s Creek star, 30, confided to a pal, according to the Enquirer.
It was recently claimed that Cruise and Holmes have so far splashed out over $3m on clothes for Suri.
“Katie and Tom really splurge on Suri, and as they’re so famous, they always get the top fashion designers to custom-make her clothes,” a source said in September this year.
“Suri may only be three, but she’s very vocal when it comes to her outfits and she’s rarely seen in anything twice.”

Allegedly, Tom and Katie have spent millions on Suri’s wardrobe, and it’s true that she rarely wears the same clothes twice, although I do think Katie’s trying to change that. When Katie and Suri are solo, it does seem like Suri is messier, more child-like, and less like a perfect little doll. Something about Tom’s influence turns Suri into a princess. Although, I have to say, it’s that way with a lot of fathers and daughters, so Tom’s not crazy just because he lets Suri get away with anything. He’s crazy because of the XenuMobile. Let’s be clear about that!
